Still where the hydrogen , as they say there is water but you cannot have water without hydrogen .... But you could have dry ice which is CO2 and the most abundant ..... Mars is like green house gas gone out of control but with No hydrogen to form the greenhouse ceiling..

Even though the majority of the atmosphere is carbon dioxide, it's atmosphere is not thick enough. Also Mars does have water, haven't you heard about the salty mud that they found. Also in some of the very deep craters, the atmosphere is thick enough for liquid water to form, as long as the temps reach above 0C, and water is present. However still far to low for human habitation. What Mars lacks is nitrogen, on Mars nitrogen is only 2% compared to earth, 78%.

There can be liquid water present on Mars with temps well below freezing if there is enough salt.

Cool climate data though...

F but better than Vostok (and most of Antarctica) due to daytime highs.

Where exactly do these figures come from? None of the sources cited support these exact figures. A year on Mars is longer than one on Earth (it is almost twice the length). Are they simply stretching the seasons on Mars to fit them into the Gregorian calendar's months?

Like I said I don't know how accurate it is but as far as timekeeping on Mars this might help https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timekeeping_on_Mars

High temperatures are fine. I can live with -18C. If the low temperatures were 30C warmer I would consider it.

C: I mean, it's REALLY bad but at least it's VERY interesting and I would really like to live there.

Summer highs are not that bad. It's a good climate, and Mars is our next frontier. Eventually, the humanity will go there, and we should get used to that weather.

Anyway, it's good for Solar System standards. Better than Titan and Venus.
