This is the climate battle between the different Nintendo headquarters around the world. Nintendo of Europe located in Frankfurt, Germany. Nintendo of Japan located in Kyoto, Japan. Nintendo of North America located in Redmond, Washington.

Kyoto has a humid subtropical climate with short mild winters and hot humid summers.

Frankfurt has a humid continental climate with strong mild oceanic influences. It has cold and snowy winters and warm summers.

Redmond has a oceanic maritime climate with mild and rainy winters and warm and dry summers.

For me Frankfurt is the best climate out of three because it's the only climate out of the three that has those snowy winters.

Kyoto summers are too hot for me and Redmond is a very boring climate with no true winter.

Redmond

Kyoto

Frankfurt

Kyoto is the best as it's warmer. Redmond has almost identical temperatures to here, Frankfurt is too cold in winter.

Kyoto; winters could be a tad warmer with more sunshine year round but summer temperatures and thunderstorms look great!

Frankfurt, since it's similar to here. Redmond is too dry in summer and Kyoto is too warm in summer.

Redmond has the better rainfall pattern but the temperatures are too mild in the summer. I went for Kyoto in the end, didn't even consider Frankfurt.

I wish Kyoto's rainfall pattern was reversed as I HATE wet summers.

Same here. It'd be awesome if the whole of Japan was Mediterranean, even though that's not possible. The temperatures there are really good in most cases.
