You said the same thing when RAlex posted photos back in December, and I agreed and also specifically said that comparable climates in Georgia don't look as barren. But it looks like that post was deleted for some reason.

Andalusia
Parque Torcal

Absolutely loved this place.

Probably looks even better in Summer

Those were taller

The Info Center is on the left side in the picture below.

Small Canyon

Spoiler

Bit of a mountain view

Looking down

Small weather station near the Info Center

The (artificial) "lake district" of Andalusia

On the other side of that Canyon starts the famous Caminito del Rey

Terrible Picture

The coastline in Nerja with the Balcon de Europa
The coastal mountains are reaching up to 1800m/5900ft
The Peak you see in the picture below is Pico del Cielo. (1508m/4950ft)
The Peak is 6km/3,7 miles away from the coastline

This small beach is kind of famous.
Playa Calahonda

lake effect cloud midweek last week after a cold front

Rain Saturday morning. Surprised to see the Berkshire hills were getting snow:

Spoiler

Rain cleared late morning. The rainclouds to the east:

Rest of the day relatively mild, a bit above 40°F. Bike ride just before sunset. Rain wasn't enough to melt all the snow, some ice left on bike path

hints of ground fog. Ground was especially moist after rain, so as it started to cool ground fog started to form?

Lake has ice on it
