November 2015 Norway
The normal used is the old 1961-90

For the country as a whole, November was 2.8°C above average, among the 15 warmest since 1900.
Warmest stations: Mean 8.3°C Ytterøyane (+2.5°C) and Kvitsøy (+2.3); 8.2°C Slåtterøy (+2.3) and Svinøy (+2.5).

Coldest stations: Mean -6.2°C (+3.1°C) Kautokeino (307 m); -6.1C (+3) Suolovuopmi - Lulit (381 m).

Absolute high: 19.8°C Sunndalsøra (SW of Trondheim)
Absolute low: -29.4°C Kautokeino

Precipitation was 115 % of normal for the country as a whole.
The wettest stations:
702.7 mm (192 %) Hovlandsdal (N of Bergen. More than 700 mm in one month!!)
682.8 mm Haukeland (no normal, near Bergen)

The driest stations:
2.9 mm Mjøen /Oppdal (Oppdal is a town 540 m asl, ca 100 km S of Trondheim)
5.4 mm Oppdal

Norwegian Arctic: Another warm month.
Svalbard Airport / Longyearbyen: Mean was -3.4°C (+6.9°C - another crazy month up there)
Bear Island: Mean -0.1°C (+3.6)
Hopen: -1.6°C (+7)
Jan Mayen: -0.6°C (+2.7)

My comments:
Ålesund (mean 7.2°C) was again warmer than Bergen, Trondheim was again warmer than Oslo, precip was pretty even among those two cities, both ca 70 mm. Very wet in Bergen - 433 mm! So far in 2015 Bergen has 2646 mm, could beat the all time record of 3068 mm from 1967 if Dec is wet.
In Tromsø, largest snow depth 28 cm, mean 2.3°C (20 m) so well above freezing.

In my region of the country, the mean ranged from 7°C at Sula to -2.7°C at Røros (625 m).

The station at Ytterøyane still has not recorded a second of air frost / freeze in 2015.

Really nice year for Atlanta. That summer could pass for northern Florida.

February was 6.8 degrees below average here. We did get lucky to miss the snow though some northern suburbs recorded some. My family in Greensboro got 10 inches.

Just replace the information in any of these boxes with the relevant data, then take a copy and paste the picture. Make sure you click "show preview" and don't save the changes you make.

Colder and drier than normal here.

The next few days look quite wet but I'm not too optimistic that December will see significantly above normal precipitation. I'm thinking it will be average or slightly below average precipitation.
