22 degrees in Lima but feels like 32 with the humidity. Outside it's actually really nice but indoors the humidity is a bit of a problema

22C will never feel like 32C regardless of humidity.

22c in Lima and New York feel completely different tho. In NYC you still need a light sweater for it but like in Lima you could go out in a tank top and have no problems

The concurrent dewpoint makes the difference in how it feels, not the location. 22C with a high dewpoint in NYC would feel warmer than 22C with a low dewpoint in Lima.

Yeah, dewpoints are everything. In NYC many times dewpoint is not too high, but there are some days in NYC where it does feel like a soup bowl. Too many people complain about NYC summers tho, we do have a couple of oppressive days, but for the most part they're really nice
