Sydney has either been compared to cities of conterminous latitudes or its Australian rivals. I wanted to see how Sydney would fare against a city that is slightly more "continental" (if not Toronto-continental).
Would you prefer the oceanic/humid subtropical concoction climate of Sydney or the continental-influenced, dry Mediterranean climate of Madrid?

Madrid by far.
Sidney winter low sucks, and they have lot of sunshine all year round.
I prefer Madrid with sunny amazing summers plus winter being way cloudier too, just the way I like it.
Madrid. Awesome summer, if slightly on the hot side, and a nice cool winter.
