1. We've never had a drought for that long of a period
2. La Nina brings wetter than normal conditions to the Midwest during the winter.

That really is terrible. Above average in October and November, and then when we are fed up of 3 months of 8-9c, the whole Spring is below average.

The spring forecast is too far out BUT looking at ENSO analogs of weak Nina or nuetral you might get an idea of where you're heading
