I don't think we'll make it to mid-May with a high in the 70s.
I predict April 24 for the first one and about the same as you for the first above 80 F low. Perhaps maybe in late May.
Because of your location I can see why you'd disagree with the first one. I think, however, that owing to my location on an island it's not unlikely a moderately cool airmass and NE flow will give me a high in the upper 70's around mid-May

Yeah, I can see coastal sections getting 79 F on a day where we'll be in the low 80s.

Yeah gfs isnt hi resolution so it has issues with details and elevations. But it is April and the waters are still cold. So I can see 80s happening interior while Long Island in 60s. I bet we can find that happened last yr.
But Id bet if this warmup does happen it will only be 70s north of Philly. Who knows though. Still too far out
