38°F this morning here. Radiational cooling at its best past 3 nights.

Current map. 3 circles. lol

2 Upper Lows and the Ridge. Arrows are the winds at the upper levels. Always moving spinning round and round when the low is closed. Still snowing over CO, WY and even Nebraska now and hills of SD.

Moisture always rides the right side of the Jet Stream south to north. No radar for out in the Atlantic but I see Bermuda is reporting showers there.

Temps and Dewpoints past 3 days. I still don't understand why some think temps touch the dewpoints at night. Just sounds funny to say.

Atlanta temps didnt touch the dewpoints.

Lexington Temps didnt touch the dewpoints

Bridgeport Temps didnt touch the dewpoints

Temps in the metro area yesterday. Warmest as 83F/28C. Compare that with Northerly Island on the downtown lakefront which only was at 60F/16C.

Warm here today by April standards (except along the shores of Lake Michigan)

Midwest

Broiling in the Southwest. Could reach 95F/35C in Phoenix this week

April is still running 6 degrees below average here. Total crap fest. Record for nights below 40 in april for the 2000-2016 period is 9, set in 2001. So far we have had 7, with possibly 1 more extremely below average night on the way tonight with lows around 40. Luckily the heat is coming in, multiple days have forecast highs near 90. Our average high right now is summer weather for some people in different parts of the world, it should feel summery now, not mid march like. Tomorrows forecast high is 85 and Tuesdays is 87, next week looks even hotter and a lot more humid with days near 90 and nights in the 60s. Lets see how much of the departure from average we can erase over whats left of april.

I noticed the winds have shifted to SW. Wonder if that will have any effect on humidity.
