Whoa? What happened to all the hot weather you just had? I had not even noticed you guys trended cold I thought it was still above average there. wow. Well, you will surely get some hot weather this summer given your average temperatures.
That was Calgary if you look at top left description.
We are (well) above 70 since May 17 and forecasted into June.

I dont see anything extraordinary in Calgary get snow in September or May,since its Located at 51N and above 1000M,but its Amazing that at this latitude and Altitude the trees and Peoples can live,here in South America at 51S Above 1000m its Frozen Year-Round and snow covered 3/4 of year.

You say the same thing for every late or early snowfall in Northern or Southern Hemisphere.
Environment Canada issued a Snow Squall Watch for those areas because conditions are favourable for the formation of bands of snow that could produce high accumulations or near zero visibility.
Snow squalls are rare in land-locked Alberta.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a snow squall watch issued for Calgary, they’re usually near open water, like the open waters of the Great Lakes,” said Paul Dunphy, a weather specialist for Global Calgary.

We've discussed this a thousand times. Southern South America has much more of an oceanic climate and much colder summers, so is it really a shock that spring or summer snow is common there? Also, Calgary can see snow in June or July as well, albeit rare.
There's a nice breeze today with gusts around 20 mph.
