I have Raynaud's so winter is basically pain and agony for me. I want it to be summer forever.

It's definitely not a hot summer climate, I wouldn't call it cool. Its July average is barely 1°C cooler than mine and has an identical August mean. Less humid so won't feel as hot.

I definitely weigh winter a lot more than summer. I would take a hotter summer if it meant a colder winter.

The Vancouver Wiki page has 1971-2000 Stats from NOAA, which show the summers only as warm as mine, and much cooler than Amherst.

I would call a summer with a 17-18C mean, a cool summer.

I think you may be looking at Vancouver, BC and not Vancouver, WA?

That's Vancouver, Washington I'm looking at.

I'll try another site.

Vancouver is right across the state line from Portland, Oregon, so I would imagine the means are about the same. Which would be about 21 C.

Even the warmest ones are showing means at only about 18-19C.

That's odd, and a big difference from Portland. I don't understand the discrepancy. Maybe UHI?

That's a good 2-3 C cooler than Portland in its warmest months.

The wiki page numbers are weirdly low; much colder than neighboring Portland. Here's another Vancouver station:

Normals Monthly Station Details: VANCOUVER PEARSON AIRPORT, WA US, GHCND:USW00094298 | Climate Data Online (CDO) | National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)

and mine:
