Thankfully NYC is far south enough to receive the benefits. Nyc climate is more similar to Philly and maybe even Washington DC than it is to thensure rest of New York State and New England

National Weather Service - NWS Las Vegas
Shows different values to the plot posted by Cambium.
But it seems to be off by one day like Cambium said
.

I've emailed the Las Vegas NOAA station to ask what is going on. Very confusing as the values seem to differ for the same Furnace Creek site. Others on other weather forums have mentioned this also. I will see what I can find out.

Here is yet another site for Furnace Creek with different values again.

MESOWEST STATION INTERFACE

It is the same furnace creek site yet look at the 24 hour min max temps listed.

The topography around Furnace Creek is also different from Stovepipe Wells. Furnace Creek is surrounded by mountains on both sides, so compressing winds off the mountains likely cause it to be slightly warmer and drier, while Stovepipe Wells is more in an open area. Both are hellishly hot though.

Furnace Creek predicted at 123 F (51 C) today per the NWS, low tonight of only 92 F (33 C). Hellish lol.

The source you posted earlier has a lot of missing data (last May and this June)
But the values are completely identical to those from Nowdata.

April 2016

National Climate Data Center Daily Summaries Station Details: DEATH VALLEY, CA US, GHCND:USC00042319 | Climate Data Online (CDO) | National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)

Nowdata National Weather Service - NWS Las Vegas

For June it shows only a few days.
But those few days are identical to Nowdata aswell.

This leads me to think that these are the correct values.

I'm perfectly happy with 90 degrees. Don't really need temperatures that Phoenix is getting right now. Though wouldn't mind a few 100 degree days come July.

Note that the plot will be 'off-by-one-day', due to the nature of the COOP reporting of daily values. So the 119° Max showing for today (20th) is yesterdays max.
COOP stations report their data after midnight (usually by 8am)

Normal is 111°. Sounds insane to say. lol

The 91° low is this mornings I wanna say looking at the Meteogram for there. But if they report 8am to 8am then the 91 could be yesterdays as well. Not 100% sure on the low.

What website did you use to get those plots?

Another teleconnnection indicating a warm Central US. Especially the Euro and Canadian model. GEFS off on it's own, and has shown poor skill.
