My dog is starting to shed. Usually when she does the pattern settles in and gets hot and humid couple weeks later but usually she starts to shed in May. So kinda weird to see it now. But it's not in clumps so maybe we'll get Hot & Humid but with breaks still?

CT Coast on top, inland on bottom.

But the highs were below average. The lows were above normal due to the endless cloud.

June 2016. Anyone outside the lines was pretty much normal aside from some localized spots above or below normal. Anyone inside the lines ended up above normal. You can see the mean axis of where the Ridge set up.

Precip percentage. You can see where it didn't rain much.

By -0.4C... 20.6C compared with 21.0C which is normal.... That's not horrible, but unwanted.... I understand, and we tend to look only at the highs because we live our lives during the daytime, but climatology will say that this June was above normal for London.

If you look at the monthly temperature rankings on NOAA.gov, they are given only in Mean temps

Not really a "below average" pattern then. Just a cloudier than normal pattern.

Here in Naples, it's currently 87 F (31 C) with a 76 F (24 C) dew point heading for 90 today. Muggy!

This June was awful. Two straight weeks of 90F+, including one day of 101F. And almost no rain except a little bit on the morning of the 28th and a thunderstorm that lasted maybe half an hour yesterday afternoon.
