Last night's rain totals. Some locals got 5" in less than one hour

Might get another round in a couple of hours

Temps are perfect, but these dew points are almost unbearable even for me.... I think 70-72F/21-22C dew points are good enough. A 28C dew point with 32C+ temps is pushing it....

KRDU can't seem to hit 96, but it's managed to hit 95 a total of five times. I wish we'd either hit upper 90s or drop into the 80s, but neither seems in the forecast for the near future.

Boston got 4 in a row of 90s. Believe it or not, 8 is the most. Who flipped the switch??

Man, Chicago got slammed with thunderstorms over the few days. I heard that downtowns can induce thunderstorm development and a downtown as big as Chicago, I am not surprised. Also, Lake Michigan being a factor. Warm air from the west clashing with cooler Lake Michigan air.

Here we go again...

Friday Rain comes from NW, disappears before getting here.

Saturday Rain comes from the North and disappears over MA

Now rain coming from the West ... lets guess what will happen.

Pittsburgh, DuBois, Altoona, State College all those areas got rain today and it's moving West but I already see it weakening and evaporating. WTF
