This is summer so I'm glad that the Midwest isn't the bullseye for that trough.
Today is the only cool day, tomorrow just barely below average here. Above average from there on out
Might take some time, but heat will eventually expand to the Northeast. This just in for the Euro
Your NOAA forecast has a high of 92F on Friday. Sure you love that. But did you see the 68F and 73F high temps on Sunday and Monday? Still a bit out there but that trend isn't good. And as far as your graphic for week 3 on the Euro showing warmth, I don't buy it. That is way out there at the end of the month, and models are not very accurate that far out.
As long as there is a ridge anchored to the PNW and Seattle, Northeast will never have above average temperatures. We really need that Ridge to just go away, and then we can stop getting record breaking cold waved

Where did you see 68 and 73 for me?
Either way, I'm going to be in Tampa tomorrow through next Wednesday

Right here, and your forecast only has one hot day in it. Admit George so far this summer is not living up all the "hot, hot, hot" we heard so much about in spring. Where is Joe Bastardi on his "after Memorial day summer starts" comment?
