In general 2015 was warmer than average, especially January, most of the spring and that incredible July, which is probably in the top 5 of the warmest months ever for here.
One day of snow that brought about 30cm nonetheless, and I don't have sunshine data unfortunately, but this year seemed sunnier than average, I wouldn't be surprised if we reached 2300 or 2400 hours, which is very good by our standards.
For the country as a whole, 2015 was 1.8C warmer than the normal (1961-90), making it the third warmest year since 1900. Precipitation was 125 % of normal, making 2015 also the third wettest year since 1900.
The warmest station was Færder with 24-hr mean 9.4C (+2C). Second warmest was 9.1C, recorded at several stations, one of them Stavanger-Sola (+1.7C), which in 2014 recorded annual mean 10C, warmest ever in Norway.
The coldest station was mt Juvasshøe (1.894 m asl) with mean -3.4C.
Absolute max was 32.1C at Brusdalsvatn (near Ã…lesund).
Absolute low was -42C in Karasjok.
Wettest was Hovlandsdal with 4.739 mm, then Haukeland (near Bergen) with 4.708 mm.
The driest station was Skjåk II with 234 mm.
The most remarkable with 2015 was the warm temperatures at Svalbard. Last month below normal there was November 2010, making it now 60 consecutive months warmer than normal.
I wish this thread dies already. I don't want to be reminded of what I had to endure. What a vile, upsetting, disgusting December this was for me. A failure for a winter month. Luckily, we are headed into an extended cold period which may last all of January and beyond

February looks good, April is a dream, June is really nice and October is a dream too.
Wow, you pick some cold spots! Only 33.5C in Windsor!?? Even the Northwest Territories was warmer than that by 3 degrees in 2014 (though not so in 2015)!
