Nothing here yet. Matter of minutes. Atmosphere priming up.

Wind did pick up so the push is here.

Didnt. Moisture only started moving in short time ago. Trying to overcome the dry air. Curious if you see anything later. I heard of some drizzle reports on I-95 so you'll probably have to wait until sun down and temp drop more for any flakes..

41° here Cloudy.

Mid 40s Long Island

White Plains reporting light snow. And Morristown, NJ now

Radar looks very deceiving. Temp holding steady at 44 after a high of 45. Feels more humid now, and we're under a Wind Advisory now.

yeah I got the text alert on my phone regarding the wind advisory which was kind of surprised and I didn't expect that.

on the road now and there are state DOT plow trucks waiting on the side of the roads. I don't get that....for 1/2 inch to 1 inch of snow?? maybe it's to start salting actually.

Yeah, these are moments when we need ground reports because radar can only tell us so much.. although now they have some high-tech radar which actually is better able to tell us I don't know how to access that yet. I think its called dual poll radar

The transfer is starting to the coastal off Maine.

This is an actual look right now...

The Clipper (1000mb over Quebec) is pushing across New England and will merge with a Coastal storm off Maine.

Heavy snow in Southwestern Maine right now.. I'm already seeing 4-6" snow totals but snow may be ending there soon. Northern Maine in for a ride.

Snow totals from this clipper and Lake Effect event (which is still going on)

I see a 15" report in Maine but a good amount of areas with 8-12" snowstorm.

In fact 18 inches fell in N. Patten, Maine! You have to zoom in on the map.
