What are your forecasts saying for where this storm will impact? Screen shot?
What are your local meteos saying?
Any stats? Records? Info?

Ugh. Hope the GFS is right, usually the Euro is more accurate in far in advance. Coast often ends up getting winter storms better even if their snowfall totals are lower. Green Mountains in southern Vermont would get dumped in the GFS forecast.

I prefer the Euro here. 18-24 inches would be quite lovely.

I am watching this storm closely as my twins have their 5th birthday party scheduled for Saturday. Last year we had an ice storm the day of their party. We need to make a decision on Thursday if to cancel or not.

WPC Updated surface map... PERFECT placement for a blockbuster snowstorm.

Last one didn't work out (1/16/16) I guess this one will. Imagine it would of been a back to backer?

Just incredible amount of liquid..

You ever get those heavy and big rainy days and say "imagine this was snow"? Well...

Euro12z
QPF Amounts: Would be ALL SNOW.

DC: 2.12"
Philly: 1.81"
Islip: 1.75"
Bridgeport: 1.47"
Boston: 1.47"
Hartford: 0.93"
Portland: 0.86"

Multiple 10 to those numbers and that's the snow total that model produces (at 10:1 ratios)

Notice less as you head Northeast because the storm track. Ratios higher as you go north so multiple by 12 for example.
