This is the climate battle between Frankfurt, London, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

Rate each climate and explain why you gave it that rating.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/London

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubai

I definitely pick Frankfurt for many reasons.

Frankfort is the only city out of the four that has a true winter season. Hong Kong in Dubai have probably ever ever seen snow and sure it snows in London but not really. The daily mean in January in London is 5°C. Compared with The daily mean in Frankfurt be 1°C in January. Frankfort can also get snowstorms which is awesome and boss.

I find London's climate very boring. The winters in London or so warm compared to many places at that same latitude. I know it's on the ocean but there are many places that are much further south of London back and get blizzards in the winter. And London basically stays above freezing temperature in the winter. The summers in London aren't bad and the summers in Frankfurt are pretty good too I like warm humid weather in the summer.

Hong Kong's climate isn't bad except for the torrential downpour monsoon rains during the summer and the dry winters. The winters are a little dry and do you need a little bit more rain in the summers are definitely too hot and too rainy but the winters are nice in Hong Kong.

The climate of Dubai where do I even begin. OK at least the summers are drier than the winters but the summers are like hell they're way too hot and way too dry. The winters are OK I need to be a little cooler I need a lot more rain.

Frankfurt - B

London - C

Hong Kong - E

Dubai - E-

Dubai for being hottest with most sunshine.

Then Hong Kong
Then London
and last Frankfurt.

Frankfurt: B, a bit too warm.
London: A-, very good, but sometimes it gets nasty heat waves.
Hong Kong: F+: it's tropical, but it's nice "winter" temperatures.
Dubai: F-, those summers are the same as Winnipeg's winters, you can't stay outside for much long.

Dubai: C+, too hot in the summer but the winters and the shoulder seasons are nice and dry.
Frankfurt: C-, not great but it's more continental and sunny than London.
London: D, just your average British Isles climate. Not good at all.
Hong Kong: F+, terrible sunshine and terrible rain pattern through the year.

Frankfurt edges out London for me.

Better summer, more sun, and has more potential for snow too.

Dubai is too hot in the summer even for me. The spring and autumns are good. Their winter is mild, but if I wanted truly mild winters, I would rather choose a tropical place like Puerto Rico

Frankfurt and London are to weak year round. Frankfurt has better summers then London but not by much. Frankfurt's winters would annoy me. Both have autumn temps that are too cool, but have decent spring temps.

Hong Kong has great spring, summer, and autumn temps. Winter temps mild, but not mild enough (if that's what I wanted in the winter).

I'll go with Hong Kong overall.

Sheez, they are all horrible in their own way.

Frankfurt: D-, gloomy, damp
London: D-, as above
Hong Kong: E+, long, oppressive, humid summers
Dubai: D, extremely hot summers

I guess I'd go for Dubai by a hair. At least it's the sunniest of the three dim climates.
