Yes, it's drier than Seattle, but also cooler in summer.

But is it browner than it would be normally for this time of year?

Yesterday. Thick frost on my car; didn't see frost anywhere else but it was 1hr40min after sunrise. Or maybe cars cool faster via radiational cooling?

Leaves are still small, but I've noticed this spot is often late to change

I think so. It's been a very dry spring so far.

Comparison photo Beacon Falls, Naugatuck River.. Same Spot, Same Day, Different year.

You tell me, Is this year ahead, behind or same as last year? And last year was late.

I'll have more pictures in a few.

Definitely a bit more green in last year's photo. Not a big difference, but I think it's noticeable, don't you think?

Left is definitely ahead. Guessing the dewpoint is lower in the right photo, too? Nice scene, definitely could pass for up here.

Rainy day today with a temp of 19c, here are a few pics from just now.

Once I got on the bus I swear there was what looked like a white funnel, behind those trees. As usual, I couldn't get a clear view or a picture of it. It may have just been scud cloud, though there were 2 funnel clouds reported in Hampshire this afternoon.

A few interesting cloud formations.

Same as here yesterday, with 19C and rain.

How high do you think the clouds in the bottom photo are?
