The plants up there look like the third or fourth week of March here. I'm impressed that the difference is that big. Though we were slightly warmer than average in April, while your area seems to have had a lot of cool days lately.

Some pics from my walk to work this morning. Everything is pretty much in summer mode now.

And now we have another shot. lol Will it slow things down again? I doubt enough to make a difference but 30s, 40s and 50s doesn't help.

Crazy difference. Crazy. I would say I am about 3 weeks away from that. Then again, I do have Maples in my yard that make it look like that now. lol

Yeah, we got a lot of hills around, just too bad they are always blocked by trees or structures. I wish I could go back in time and see the rolling hills without obstructions.

This was yesterday as well. Cool look in person with the drop on the left and the hill rise further back..

I'll let people guess where these photos were taken. Should be pretty easy.

Nice place for lunch. Reminded me of the snake place in Duel.

Hazy skies

Passed lots of whiners complaining about the climb back up. I got the impression some of them have never walked a day in their lives. The hike was not particularly strenuous.

Photos don't do it justice.

World's most scenic restroom?

Two hours of being a troglodyte was enough for me. Sun was blinding upon exiting.

View from on top of the ridge

This hike was slightly easier.

Nice view into the canyon below

Indian rock shelter

I know you flew over the Gulf of Mexico, so somewhere in the SW maybe New Mexico or western Texas.

Tommy, if I can find a photo from India I'll post it soon. One of the best toilet views, out to snow capped mountains and canola farms. Perfect height also

That's my favorite. You should blow it up and frame it.

I'm guessing Arizona? but I cheated. Saw the Walnut Canyon Vista sign and Googled it. LOL

I love caves! Very cool and interesting hike to get there. Looks like fun.

Last caves I been to was in PA and Howe Caverns in NY. You have to take a 45 meter elevator down.(147 feet)

May 22, 1842. Noticing that his cows frequently gathered near some bushes at the bottom of a hill on hot summer days, Howe decided to investigate. Behind the bushes, Howe found a strong, cool breeze emanating from a hole in the Earth

Same park as on Monday. Here's the childrens' traffic park:

They have real traffic lights and everything:

A lot more quiet than on Monday. Where's all the sun worshippers?

Today, these are willows. Dry weather goes on although it was forecasted to be rainy.
