10° south would line me up with the Baja Peninsula. I spent my entire life getting away from horrible desert climates and no way am I going back. 300 more hours of sunshine for me, please!

I choose sunshine and would use it in the winter. The low sun looks great but we hardly ever see it. Getting next to no sunshine for months negatively affects health and mood. High pressure would also make winters colder which would be great.

well 10 degrees south would put be around Half Moon Bay, CA which probably has one of the most monotone temps in the world, so no thank you, much rather have the extra 300 sunshine hours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half_M...fornia#Climate

This is how I would split up my sunshine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle#Climate
