I'm tracking weather in cities to see if it would be a good fit. I'm wondering at what temperature and humidity level is it that you get that sticky, gross feeling? I despise hot and humid days but can't remember what the exact temps were when I felt like I was melting the second I stepped outside. Thanks
It's going to vary a little from person to person. In summer temps dewpoints between 60-65 will be noticable and inching towards sticky. Between 65-70 is uncomfortable to some degree for most people. Over 70 bring a towel to wipe the sweat off, lol. News 8 Weather Blog: DEW POINT - THE BEST INDICATOR OF COMFORT
Uhm... the line between "sticky" and "not sticky" is not very clear, also it changes with the person.
At 100 °F, one may feel sticky above 20%
At 90 °F, one may feel sticky above 40%.
At 80 °F, one may feel sticky above 80%.
At 70 °F, it may be difficult to feel sticky.
Wow. I notice the difference whenever the temperature is above freezing.
I don't. Unless it's about to rain out.... Plus, to me "feeling sticky" means a heat index which doesn't happen unless the temps are above 80 degrees
