10 degrees closer to the equator or 300 hours/year extra Sunshine, what would you choose?


Of course this question isn't appropriate for people living <10 degrees north or south

Our January would likely go from 8C/2C to 14C/8C and our July from 24C/14C to 30C/20C

In the UHI of the city it would be even warmer... Yes please!

300 hours more sun - would be more noticeable here where we only get 1300-1400 hours a year anyway.

10 degrees south without a doubt. Sunshine is amazing here with over 2600 hours I believe it is ? Here in Raleigh.

300 hours of sunshine. Our climate is already warm enough for me, but I would not mind some extra sunshine (providing it would be during the colder half of the year - extra cold in winter would be nice as well instead of those dull 5c overcast days)
