Cincinnati is unique enough thanks to the German influence, but other cities have nothing even remotely memorable or remarkable about them. Cleveland had Millionaires Row back in the 19th century on Euclid Avenue but very little of it is left. Nowadays it's just gas stations and tire shops

That doesn't mean Ohio and Idaho are even close to similar. Seriously educate yourself before just writing off the rest of the country because it isn't NYC or Boston.
I'm not writing off the rest of the country, I'm just talking about the corn belt. I've been to Atlanta and Houston before and I realize how different they are. Houston is more diverse and from experience much friendlier too
Honestly I would rather go to Chicago or Detroit before Cleveland. Chicago is obviously...well...Chicago, and Detroit has cool art deco buildings and Deroit also has cool Polish and Middle Eastern cafes which appeals to a foodie like me. I can't think of a single other Midwestern city I want to visit
I'm sure there's some stuff see in Ohio, but I don't have any particular interest in visiting it. Nothing in particular that seems that special nor that I couldn't get here.

Exactly...same with Iowa/Idaho/Indiana/Nebraska/Wisconsin/Dakota/etc
I've heard lots of people say great things about Madison. But of what I've seen of Wisconsin, it reminded me of upstate NY but not as nice... hills smaller, towns not as cute.

A lot of these states aren't even close to each other, I'm not sure why you're grouping them all the same. Seriously your posts come across as extremely snobbish.
