It's irritating when cars put their headlights on in daylight.
I agree, lots of cars seem to have their headlights on all day - normally BMW or Audi cars - I wonder if they are automatically always on? Very annoying getting blinded in daylight from them

In many countries headlights are required to be on all the time. In many new cars you don't even have the option to turn them off.
Considering the high latitude, I'd endorse such a law in the UK as well. We've had it since 1997.

In the UK you are only required to have your headlights on between sunset and sunrise, or in very dull weather.. why do you need them on during the day if it isn't dull? It just seems a waste to me. But yeah I figured that newer cars don't have an option to turn them off
I am undecided. I would ideally love for us to stay in the EU, but there are certain things about the EU that I disagree with.. also there is a case to leave because most analysis shows that the UK contributes more to the EU than we receive back.

Because the visibility of the car is vastly improved, i.e. it's safer. You notice another car much much better.

So do we, on paper. But the immaterial benefits like the internal tax-free market are a huge plus both for Britain and Finland. IDK how much the UK pays more than it gets, but for us it was €145 per person in 2014. I'm ok with that.
