glad I inherited my moms side which dont burn and never need sunscreen unless uv is fairly high.

Perhaps due to eye colour? I have dark brown eyes but light brown hair which turns even lighter in summer.
I don't see what it would have to do with eye color. I've known pale redheads with brown eyes, and I assume they burn rather easily.

I would definitely get sunburnt if I stayed outside for 2 hours at this time of year in this location in full sun without protection.

My sister has blue eyes and same hair color and see burns after minimal time in the sun.

Women generally have lighter features than men, and lighter colored skin, so I'd assume that's why, rather than eye color.

I saw something about a rodeo in South Jersey on tv a while back. It was on this program (starting at 19:00).

I have medium brown hair and blue eyes, and I'm unable to burn in UV 5.

Yeah exactly, but I do know some people who are very very pale. But most of my friends at least do keep their color all winter and don't go ghost white.

Check out these posts I searched and found on twitter from last year at this same time with max UV 5:

We've got a new baby at home now! I watched the caesarean too, and tbh, I found it very interesting! It was a bit weird seeing my missus cut open, but I was fascinated with what was going on.

Our new daughter is lovely though. She poo's constantly as well, which is a nice treat...
