Those summer record lows are too unrealistic. Usually the record low in the hottest month cannot be more than 15 C (27 F) below the average low. Besides if summer is the wet season the humidity will prevent overly cold, dry air from reaching the city.
I have multiple ideal climates but this is one that I created that is a high altitude climate, a Subtropical highland of sorts. The summers are the rainy portion of the calendar year and the rain comes in the form of a constant drizzle-mist during the mornings and evenings. There is also a dry season(low humidity to accompany the low rainfall) and a windy season... Zero thunderstorms as well as cool nights year round.
Though this climate lacks summer warmth, the lack of winter cold compensates for it. I didn't make add sunshine hours but it is around 2300 hours per year.
Basically I want Manchester with slightly more annual precipitation.
