No, it passed the preliminary steps to be considered for a law. And then, they would have to be included in the sale of a mobile home. Not required if you own one, just if you sell it either new or "used".
That's great, but people still have to turn it on to be effective. Just another feel good law. I'm amazed at how many people in my area are not aware when severe weather is threatening. Most don't seem to know the difference between a tornado watch and tornado warning. The best defense against severe weather is being aware of what is going on around you.
