New England has no decent climates outside of Hartford and the Connecticut-NYS border. It's better than Upstate NY strangely, but that's not saying much

PNW for the milder winters and crispy summers.

Add a poll from "thread tools".

PNW weather equals no seasons, rain, cloudy days, and more rain. And serial killers.

New England has beautiful sunny days and four glorious seasons. It's a no brainer for me.

Coastal PNW climates are better (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver). The inland PNW with very cold winters (Boise - I didn't know it was part of the PNW) is just as bad as New England.

New England, mainly for the colder winters with potentially heavy snow and the additional sunshine.

I'd say that coastal New England has some of the best moderate 4 season climates. Summers are warm and nice, not too hot, and winters are interesting.

Both NE and PNW regions has it's own charm, simply can't determine which is better overall.
I tend to prefer only the southern half of New England, anywhere north of Manchester, NH seems bit too cold for me when looking the annual avg temps.
Like Nei mentioned above they are relatively safe places to avoid frequent severe t-storm activities in the contiguous US.

Especially near the New England coasts where sea breeze kills them off. But when they do happen it feels like a war is going on.

People that think the PNW is constantly rainy and drizzly are clearly ignorant.

Summers in PNW are glorious. I spent a Summer there 2 summers ago and it was rainless, bright sunshine nearly everyday and beautifully mild between 75 and 80.

PNW
Milder/wetter winters, plus drier/milder summers(specially the lows) are all positives to me.
Oregon has the best climates in USA, in my opinion (Eugene, Salem)
