These climates seem uncharacteristic to West Asia, but they exist. Which do you prefer?

Dry continental (Bsk/Dsa):
Yüksekova, Turkey - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%C3%BCksekova#Climate
Urmia, Iran - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urmia#Climate

Humid subtropical (Cfa):
Batumi, Georgia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batumi#Climate
Lankaran, Azerbaijan - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lankaran#Climate

I've made a thread like this before. I thought a part-two entry (with different cities) would seem convenient.

Hmm... none of them are really to my liking, but I'll probably go with Urmia. Batumi and Lankaran are both warmer but Urmia is much sunnier and drier.

Batumi. Yuksekova and Urmia are too dry, and Lankaran is too warm.

Toss up between Batumi and Yuksekova. I like Batumi's precipitation and sunshine hours...temperatures are okay. Yuksekova looks very comfortable, but is probably too sunny.

Between Lankaran/Batumi and Urmia for me. Not sure if the sunshine hours in Urmia are enough to make up for the harsh winters. Hmmm...I guess Urmia since winters are short so I think I could stomach the cold in exchange for sunny weather nine months a yaer

Batumi doesn't look that bad. It's just a bit warm/hot in the summer and rainfall is too heavy, but it's not bad.

Lankaran, although it could be sunnier with milder winters.

Urmia actually has good sunshine hours in an annual basis. They're just too lopsided (too few in winter, too much in summer).

Yuksekova is wetter than London. And they're rather wet for 6 months.

Their sunshine hours will probably be like Urmia's.
