Which has a better collection of climates in your opinion?

Discuss the climatic patterns and overall weather and the merits and demerits of both (both objectively and subjectively in line with your personal preferences).

A) The U.K

or

B) The U.S. South

You really can't compare the UK with the US South which is a much larger region. But I will choose the US South of course...

It's a bit unfair to compare them as one is so much larger than the other.

We should be able to include territories, in which case both Bermuda and Gibraltar have better climates than anywhere in the US south.

I was aiming to compare a collection of oceanic climates within the same region vs. a collection of subtropical climates within the same region but yes, the U.S. South covers much more area so maybe I should narrow it down to a specific region of the U.S. South that still has some variation within (what about the Carolinas + Georgia vs. U.K)?

Why not have Western Europe (UK, France, Spain, Portugal) vs the US South then?

Southern France, Spain, and Portugal are largely Mediterranean; I chose the U.K for being entirely oceanic in classification.

I thought you simply chose the two because they result in the most heated debates...

I'll take London fog over the south's heat and culture any day.

Collerctively I choose the u.s.south, because northern England/Scotland is a bit too chilly year round.
But I would take a climate as Portsmouth over most of the U.S.South
