Sweet! Here's a nice 48hr loop for you.. It's about as low as it will go, will start turning back north tomorrow.

Impressive to see dive south from Canada. Awesome stuff we don't see many times.

Eastern Canada - IR + Visible - Environment Canada

And you wanna see something cooler? Clouds are moving different direction at each level of the atmosphere. Upper Level they are moving from the South. Surface they are moving from the Northeast. I'm such a geek!

Still Satellite... Sweet! Is Hurricane Matthew waiting for that ULL to move out??

IEM :: Site Info: PHL PHILADELPHIA INTL

They didn't pass 65 today???

Nice pattern change for sure! And some folks kept posting those torching warm red above normal maps for this week.

This is short lived though cambium. Nothing hints at a turn to permanently cooler than normal pattern.65 is pretty below normal not seasonally. Averages here right now are down to 78/56

No torch either yet.. Pattern of seasonable is welcomed by millions. If this Matthew comes up, goodbye heat chances next week. lol If it recurves out to sea, ridge can build and provide heat

And yeah, 65 in Philly today definitely below normal but I was referencing what has been happening this week overall. Looks like they had a well above normal low today so the average will probably be just normal

Tis the season when we see a storm over Land that produces snow and a Tropical storm. Love it. Gulf states are safe from it. It's going East side!

Been dramatically cooler here last few days too, but I'm still around

Strike that... even a recurve out to sea there might be a trough coming. Lol. Love this new pattern

Btw.. that plains storm is a HUGE key in whether Matthew hits the northeast or not.

They may merge together!

Heres GFS showing Matthew headijg OTS with no impacts on land but the cool trough swinging through.
