Latest EuroEPS decides to miss all land except outter banks of NC and MA. Rides the Hurricane up the coast. So far away..just showing all the different results. Soon there will be more consistent with a solution.

What's happening is there are 2 main players as the key.

1. The Trough and Upper Low THIS WEEK. What that does will play a role.
2. The trough & front next week.

The speed and location of these will determine the Hurricane path! Isn't it amazing to watch how everything evolves??????

Question, the trough looks very deep and strong, does the hurricane sort of prevent it from reaching so far south?

Edit ........ DONE... Under 50° now just in time before the sun gets higher. Finally! Been since Mid May. Doors and windows open.
Didn't get cold inside with the windows closed, well I had one of mine open a crack.

Are you sleeping in to avoid experiencing the cold? Wake up, get out there and check for frost! We need more ground troops! Funny thing is.. I had to close the windows and doors. Inside dropped to 50s and I didn't want to start the stove yet. With the sun hitting the house it will warm up and get stuffy later.

It's going to come down to who wants to enter the picture first. If the trough is faster then it has potential to dig south and deflect the hurricane East more. If the trough holds back then yeah, the hurricane will prevent the trough from digging down. Then there's the scenario where the hurricane gets absorbed into the trough and the storm rides the Jet Stream.

Funny thing is .. Global warming or climate change is not dictating the path of this thing, meanwhile, if disaster occurs somewhere from it, they will use that excuse. Hits Florida blame you know what. Misses Florida we all forget it and ignore any reasons.

MDW's low this morning was 65F. Mine was 62F. Monday through Wednesday are going to feel very different. First real taste of autumn here, yet still only a couple of degrees below normal

Heavy rain being predicted around the Rio Grande River over the next couple of days.

Looking like the front will come here without producing much rain.

I'm starting to drool at some signs. But forget about that, I'm more concerned about this... Potentially Matthew hitting the U.S.

GFS does not hit (except the Bahamas) but take a look at something.........

This is the surface map for Monday October 3rd.. See the Hurricane over Cuba? That High pressure over the Northeast is also playing a role... If that is able to scoot out fast enough, the Hurricane will be able to make a move towards the coast. Also a player is that trough in the west at this point...

Now move forward... GFS12z says that trough misses the Hurricane Friday October 7th and the Cane stays off shore... Do you have any idea how close this particular run was to doing another Sandy?? If that trough captures the Tropical storm, it will bring it west.

2 days later it does but well north for Canada and even Maine to feel the effects.
