Ironically today would have been Seve Ballesteros birthday...another Master's chamption from Spain. Sadly he passed away of cancer back in 2011.

Yeah, as they kept saying, it would have been his 60th birthday.

It's difficult to watch any Master's coverage without Jim Nantz. Just not the same. He is a class act.

I think Nantz will still be around for a while, but it is just not going to be the same when he retires.

I don't get why Joe Buck is so hated. He's not as good as Nantz, but I've heard much worse.

Well, at least for me, my dislike for the guy is because he announces with about as much excitement as I have when we have a 90 F day in late October.

LOL. For me, something about his style is just sorta grating.

I don't dislike Joe Buck, but he is simply not in the same league as Jim Nantz.

This is a good example of what I'm talking about. Back in 2003 during the Marlins/Yankees World Series, then rookie Miguel Cabrera (20 years old at the time) hits a home run versus Roger Clemens who is a legend and was 42 at the time, and look at how much "excitement" Joe Buck has

You would think a moment like this would generate a lot more excitement from an announcer.
