Last time I rode one was back in November 2014.

It's been a while, but i've been busy, I guess. Going on a trail ride seems like fun -- did that once in the Poconos. Maybe in the fall when the weather's nicer.

Ohh, I haven't ridden a horse in years - since I was a child. My sister used to ride competitively and has many ribbons. This was back in the 90s.

^ I do prefer the Western saddle over the English one... more comfortable, IMO. They don't really do Western over there.

that's got me thinking. I wonder where the nearest place is that teaching riding in Ukrainian Kozak tradition. Certainly not here, lol. Maybe Western Canada would be the closest.

Cool! And yeah, by Western Canada, I was thinking of the prairies ... maybe not the best word choice.

I should search the internet in Pennsylvania and upstate N.Y. for this. Pa has Ukrainians. Maybe more in western pa though. but unlike w. Canada I think most Ukrainians in my region arrived later and did not settle the rural areas and adopt rural lifestyles as in the Canadian prairies. So that kind of decreases the chances of finding what I'm looking for.

Moved house today

Moving home is so stressful! It'll be worth it when we're all finished unpacking in the next couple of days.

Just need to sell our old house now. It's had loads of interest, and a couple of mediocre offers, but I'm sure it won't take too long to sell. That area is very easy to sell a house.
