Weather is a false sense of pride for some reason to a lot of Brits. Weirdest phenomenon I've ever seen. In the U.S. you would never see someone make "fun" of another climate because they average 20 C highs in the summer meanwhile their locations averages like 22 C, lol.
You say Brits, isn't it always just 1 or 2 users who always who start these debates? The only reason they drag on so long is because the clown at the centre of it will not relent
It's amazing how worked up people get over 0.1 degrees but reading some of those threads is hilarious seeing "my climate averages 22.6, this other climate averages 22.5 so mine is so much better". You also don't see this happening with any other climates, only British ones for some reason.
I tried to rep everyone on the last 2 pages but I had to spread more reputation around before giving it to some of you.
This makes no sense. It would be like me praising Rochester just because it is like 1C warmer than Binghamton year round. I don't get why it's only the British posters doing this. This is starting to get annoying, almost on the level of the West Coast posters who only post when its above average there
You shut your filthy mouth! Dickchestershire has a 20.3 average high in July! Hah! Checkmate! And that is not even the warmest location, East Dickchestershire gets an average high of 20.314, and there is that one part of East Dickchestershire which is in a sort of little ravine, I bet it even rises to a toasty 20.315 there
You dumb ass at least my climate has an average high of 20.316 C in July! HA!! Your summers are so weak and pathetic.
Also did you know the UK is the most varied country in terms of climate? The U.S? Russia? China? Pfffft. What a joke.

You should have been in this forum a few years ago it was definitely more than just one or two always trying to "defend" the U.K.'s climate lol.....
Typical SA poster: Hey, I am Diego from Montevideo! But I don't like Montevideo's climate so I'm only going to post about Patagonia all the time, and I'm only going to post when it is below average there! Because even though South America is a huge continent with a wide diversity of climates, Patagonia is the only that really matters
Typical West Coast US poster: Hey, I am Chad from Santa Barbara! I am going to post about my climate, but only during intense heatwaves. I am also going to act as if those heatwaves are the average so that everyone thinks that 100s in April here are completely normal!
Typical British poster: Hey, I am Harry from England! I am from Southeast London, where we get 22.2C average highs in July! Please don't confuse us for East London, which only gets 22.1C highs in July, or the Eastern Western Southwest Northern Upper West Midlands, which get a measly 22.0C highs in July. Lame
At least you weren't obnoxious about it. I remember there would literally be UK posters get their panties in a bunch simply because someone doesn't like their climate.
