Well I agree it would be a bit unpleasantly cool if strong winds are blowing from the ocean permanently, but in this case is premised on surrounded by the mountains not far away from the coast.
Recently I made a fictional climate of modified version based on Honolulu.
-Record High/Low, Average High/Mean/Low 18°F(10°C) lower
-Precipitation increased Oct~Mar +50%, Apr~May/Jul~Sep +250%, Jun +450%
-Extra 2 days of rainy days every each month
-Sunshine hours decreased -30%
I'd like that if the record highs became the normal and the mean temps were the average lows.
