I remember Owen recording himself listing words, he has a typical NI accent. Maybe living in Norwich he has picked up a Norfolk accent too? When I returned from Brisbane my friends said I had picked up a slight Aussie accent lol.

At least you pronounce Route correctly

Every time I have been to the US people always ask if I'm from Australia lol

My accent is very mild, and I usually have a hard time understanding people from elsewhere in Yorkshire who speak with very broad Yorkshire accents. They pronounce coat like 'coyt' and pronounce water as 'watter' or 'wa'er' instead of 'warter'. I don't like it at all.

My sister has been in Middlesbrough for about 2 years now and she has picked up a definite Geordie twang to her accent.

Yeah you give the impression of a high caliber individual who would be mixing with the upper class men of Yorkshire.

I had a slight southern drawl after living in GA from 2006-2008, which I thought was kinda weird lol.

Of course, after moving to South FL my accent disappeared in no time, now I have more of a "Miami accent" or neutral accent.

The Leeds accent just isn't as strong. It has nothing to do with class.

"High caliber individual" relates solely to upper class? Please. The caliber of someone is their character, not the amount of money they have.

Well, I have been living away from my home country now for maybe 19 months and only sometimes utter out a few words in an English accent, otherwise my accent is pretty solid.

There is no way that I would lose my accent, it's too strong and I am not making an effort to lose it.
