What happened in 2013? I joined in 2015, if anything it's improved now that we don't have a cold epoch troll, no lamex, none of those silly threads that were made. No more constant talk about the souths climate. It's gotten better imo. Unless you preferred that stuff.

I couldn't care less if they have an effect on you or not, everyone here knows your views & I'm not sure if many (if any) agree with you, but to expect no one to challenge your views (which you frequently post) is rather arrogant of you...

There weren't as many moronic regulars, less divisiveness between European and American posters, people were more genuinely interested in discussions and not so much in idiotic rating climate threads, weren't as repetitive topics, etc.

Well, ill say something.. My understanding is Japan has been rather supportive of Ukraine. So I must say my current thinking is I love the Japanese.

I think the rate the climate and poll threads peak in 2014 & 2015; a lot of the actually interesting climate discussion have been done in detail. They could be interesting if people think of new ones or find new stuff to add.

We have several Muslim regulars (well one actually frequently posting these days). Whatever you think of their religion, its beliefs they value and as far as I can tell aren't trying to impose Islam on anyone [well at least not on this forum ] Having discussions on whether people with X religious views are awful is rather inappropriate for a weather chat thread.

I think the wavehunter duplicate accounts were at their peak in 2012/2013, it seemed like a new one appeared every week (with names like nunnor, EUGal, Mumsen, etc).

Agreed that not all of them are bad and can instill some interesting discussion, it's the very repetitive ones by a certain poster the ones I'm talking about.

But 2013 and before, the forum wasn't filled 20+ posts / day about my regional weather mostly from a certain poster. Plus subsequent discussion. Though seriously, there has been more discussion on some technical aspects of weather in the last couple years (mid-level air flow, indicies, ridges/troughs, etc.)
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
