Pretzels are more popular in Pennsylvania, USA.

Sauerkraut is mostly produced and consumed in countries such as Belarus, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia and Czech Republic, etc. etc. etc.

I prefer to call it kapusta, and it's actually one ethnic food I am not terribly fond of.

Kapusta is the russian word for cabbage just fyi

Actually, all Slavic languages use the same word.
That shows how similar the Slavic countries are. Russians and Ukrainians, are not so different after all
