Sure, and plenty of poor people do. It's clearly far easier for the children of the well off than the children of those poorer. You don't need to feel guilty about it; but you shouldn't refer to whatever advantages you have all the time nor recommend poor people do things that are obviously hard for them. Doubly so after tragedy; it sounded callous.

Why are you asking Razza? He hasn't complained about his finances or anything else about his lot in life.

Yes, when have I ever complained about my living conditions on this? I just sympathise with others who may be struggling, bizarre concept I know...

He's getting on my nerves. He's going on about opportunities. I am showing him that we in the UK (especially Southern England with the infrastructure/jobs) don't have an excuse with all the university courses that we can study.

I have also shown him that you can get into university via the backdoor through a Foundation Year if you don't have A Levels.

You're not convincing and you're coming across as either clueless or a snob.

The only way you cannot improve your quality of life with effort is if you live in a rural area with no infrastructure/jobs or if you have an ailment.

I don't even see what point you're trying to make. People are just tired of your naive worldview. You're like the old-fashioned Tory politicians who used to waltz into deprived areas wearing a tophat and twirling a cane, telling the locals that they are ignorant peasants who should work harder. Obviously that kind of thing doesn't go down well, and unsurprisingly those places never voted for the Conservatives.

It's the same here, does the fact that everyone is hostile towards you when you speak on this subject not give you a hint? Either change your tone or just avoid talking about it.

I don't understand your viewpoint. If you have the opportunity run for it.

I don't understand why you keep trying to offer me career advice. I'm fine thank you very much.
