Why not? Nothing wrong with a night in on your own, watching some TV, cooking up some dinner or a BBQ and drinking.

I hate exercising, don't care about my fitness or anything like that, I prefer to sit down and read a book, magazine or whatever and I really hate the gym. All of my exercise consists of going for walks in the evening. Most of my food intake is off the BBQ or fast food. I just like to eat what tastes good, don't give a rats ass if it's healthy or not.

The odd night every now and again is ok, but some people drink loads every night. There's a guy at work who is quite open about it. He finishes work, goes for a couple of beers in his room(accommodation at work), then has an hour in the gym, then back to his room drinking until late. Every night. Obviously he's an alcoholic and really needs help, but some people would find his behaviour as acceptable.

People who act as he does are generally lonely people, who simply have nothing else. I feel sorry for him.

I love exercise. I love the fact I can can control how I look, how healthy and energised I feel, and can push myself whilst knowing it's making me stronger. If I have a week off from the gym and eat crap, I feel rubbish. Eating healthy, and being fit really does make you feel better. Healthy food can taste amazing too if you know how to cook, and have good recipes. I'm a crap cook really, but my missus is brilliant.

I really dislike beer, lager and ale. My drink of choice would usually be G&T, bourbon or cider.

Red wine and port are good too. White wine is meh and rose wine is disgusting.

I feel the same way. Every time I finish working out, I always feel really good about myself. The primary motivation for me is to look good but I want to be healthy as well.

Loads every night would be pushing it, depending on how much "loads" is. How much does he drink after his gym session? Is it a 6 pack, a bottle of wine, bottle of spirits? That will determine whether it's "acceptable" and if he "needs help" or not.

I find fun in the BBQ, and experimenting with that. I eat some veggies, but only the ones I like made the way I like, which is usually roasted, grilled, in a stir fry or soup, or in the case of peas, steamed. I f**king hate mushrooms, brocolli and cauliflower.

Went to the hardware store today and to my surprise they stock Ghost Chillis, and Trinidad Scorpions, along with Cayenne and Jalapenos. Quality of life improved

I feel like **** if I don't work out for a week as well. It's personal for everyone. Some people walk up a flight of stairs and feel like they ran a marathon, whereas I feel pumped up and energised after a 15 mile bike ride or something.

This whole concept of alcohol of any kind being a "girly" drink is f**King retarded and lame. Just like the whole dumb f**k stigma of drinking home alone. Nothing wrong with that. Using that "logic", what would water and juice be then?

I love cider and wine too. Certainly won't think twice about tucking into a bourbon and coke either.
