About time!
Heathrow airport expansion 'approved' - BBC News

What they should do is scrap the public consultation and get on with construction. The public in this country shouldn't be allowed anywhere near such an important project, after the EU vote!

Ahhhh my internet is stuffing around. I love mobile data, way better and 99999999999999999999999x faster than the ADSL wank I used to have, but still f**king annoying when it decides to play up.

"Minimum wage for foreign players, a gentleman's agreement limiting foreign players, longer season starting in March, better condition requirements for stadia or you're forced to play away your home games. So that nobody but us two will never win the league title anymore."

Read this -

Hillary Clinton and the Populist Revolt - The New Yorker

Somewhat connected to what Warszawa was talking about. At the very least, it would be hard to not come away with a more positive image of Clinton from reading this article. She is not the diabolical figure she's presented as. She would be at least a decent president. The problem with the anti-Clinton smears is it's propaganda targeted towards those who subscribe to incendiary but myopic narratives (e.g., the élites versus the common citizens).

Trump is a con-artist that simply exploited some of the factors discussed in the aforementioned article.

Agreed. Things never progress here because the public are consulted over absolutely everything.. it's just not necessary. Far too much NIMBYism.

Same thing here. NIMBYs are complaining only for the sake of complaining.

Meanwhile, a Finnish take on the clown craze. Clowns not scary enough? Well, add a knife and even a chainsaw has been spotted.

edit: seems that German clowns have too wielded knives, chainsaws, guns and baseball bats. Axes in Denmark.

Think the same thing happened here, some dude dressed as a clown had a chainsaw, only to scare his friends but he ended up scaring an entire campus and understandably got in trouble and had to make a public apology.

If I see one of them, I'll punch them.

Me too. The police have said between the lines that blame yourself if someone decides to punch you.

I'm still upset from watching 'The Walking Dead' last night I know the characters died in the comic, but they don't always follow exactly what happens in that. The first death was quite sad, but then the shocking second one was really bad, not to mention extremely graphic & gory
