Some garden centres here sell the "traditional" Christmas trees, like the Norwegian Spruce, but they are ridiculously expensive as they have to be imported. So lots of people use Norfolk Island Pines instead

Christmas trees (real ones) where I live are about $75. I've never seen anyone use a Norfolk Island Pine as a Christmas tree though, even though they grow naturally in south Florida. I've also rarely seen a Norfolk Island Pine small enough to use for a Christmas tree...most where I live are like 50ft tall lol.

Yep obviously when planted in the ground they get huge, there are plenty of tall ones here, but the garden centres sell smaller potted ones & many people keep them in pots so they can bring them inside for Christmas & outside for the rest of the year. You can use the same plant for a few years as keeping them in pots stunts them...

21 metres tall and 70 years old. From a local farm.

I still play Pokemon Go sometimes. At Level 21 now.

I don't play the 3DS games but my brother and a friend of mine got Sun/Moon.

I was thinking more Sun/Moon. I stopped Pokemon Go ages ago, I think I was level 17.

I always thought Pokémon was thought to be cool around the turn of the millennium and for people in my age (around 8-9 at the time). I outright rejected it, I liked to play Monster Truck Madness instead, in fact I wish I still had it at times :'(

Then last summer I see adults being obsessed with it... what the hell happened there I mean really? I've heard that is on its way out which is good, it's not good having kids being ran over being out in traffic at seven years old looking for pretend figures...

Well at least it probably makes them less likely to become violent in the future than shooting games...

I was really into Pokémon from, like, ages seven or eight to ten. But now I don't have time for it.
