I haven't even looked at the prices - it's just one of the restaurants that came to mind because it looks like a high-end establishment. I'm not a pretentious snob so I normally don't care about that sort of thing, but I figure that 30 is quite an important landmark.
Mine was 5%, if you only count habitual smokers. Some students smoke at parties / when drunk; if those were counted, maybe 20-25%. I did occasionally in college and then realized it was disgusting. A lot American young people have switched over to vaping; rather inoffensive IMO.
Yeah, I see people vaping at my university.
Smoking (as in regular smokers) is quite common at my university. When I'm walking to my flat, I'm constantly walking past people standing smoking.

Prices don't necessarily reflect good quality either. A restaurant doesn't have to be expensive to be good.
We went to a place called Brasserie Zedel in London, and had two courses for about £10 each. It was lovely food, in a beautiful building, yet it was cheap. Oh and guess what, Tom Hiddleston and Paul Bettany were sat about two tables across from us, so cheap means nothing.

Yeah, definitely - plus expensive restaurants sometimes have these useless tiny servings. I usually just eat at smaller independent restaurants rather than the big chains anyway. I love food but don't love spending a lot, lol.
I stick to £20-£50 price points. I don't like paying any higher than £50.
Sometimes, i've got no choice though. If i'm in a swanky area e.g Financial District or somewhere like that i'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay the prices, otherwise i'm going to be eating slop.
(Still doesn't feel good though)
