Nice!

I thought I had a few pennies from the 1930s or maybe even 1920s, but I can't seem to find them right now. I did just find a nickel I had saved -- minted in 1945.

I also have a 1976 series two dollar bill. I remember I found that on the playground when I was in second or third grade, and I've held onto it ever since. It's in pretty good shape still.

I still use cash for under $20 purchases though.
Because there are fees associated with Credit cards.

Well any money you have on you that can be lost or stolen isn't going to be recovered, but if your card is stolen or lost it can be cancelled immediately. I will pay for small amounts in cash but generally anything over 20 Euros I would pay with my debit card. I would only use a credit card in exceptional circumstances or if absolutely necessary as I don't like them, they are far too tempting for people to buy things they cannot afford & get into debt...

In case of debit you are screwed and have to wait until you have physical money to do it, which in some cases means going to the sketchy Payday Loan places
Yes, hence the Americans who are always in debt trying to life a lifestyle that they cannot afford! I use a debit card and have no overdraft to ENSURE that I spend within my means!

Yeah, I prefer to get my cash from the teller. I prefer to deposit checks that way too.

Also, that's kind of the point--you are not getting a "refund" for credit card fraud. IDK how long it typically takes to fully resolve it. But you simply deduct the fraudulent transactions from what you pay, if it's a credit card. So it's essentially taken care of from your standpoint as soon as it's reported (and as soon as the replacement card arrives).

Yes, on my bank app I can block the card myself.

Yeah, for merchants. Not for the cardholder if you pay it in full all the time. I've had my credit card for over three years now, and I've never paid anything for it. On the other hand, I have gotten rewards!

In the UK you're not supposed to have a Credit card unless you're earning a decent wage, so it wouldn't make sense for me ( a student) to have one over a Debit card.
