No, that's where you're wrong. Islam is not the problem, it's the governments and prechers who use Islam to spew hate. Religion is a tool, just like it was in Europe, but not the cause.

By saying that only 0.0001% of Muslims are the problem amounts to denial. Yes, a small amount are committing these attacks, but a wider percentage is not only failing to condemn these actions, they are passively and often actively, sympathising with them. If you look at a wide variety of opinion polls that have been carried out across the world, including within western nations, then it paints a rather disturbing picture. A significant proportion of the world's Muslims hold beliefs that are abhorrent and are completely incompatible with western liberal values. Islam and the the left are strange bedfellows.
Couldn't agree more, especially with the last point. The left is very quick to condemn Christianity, yet always come to the defense of Islam. Islam is incompatible with a free, open, safe, liberal society. Even in so-called moderate countries like Jordan, the LGBT community doesn't fare very well.
