I wouldn't say ADHD is a weirdo-disorder in the same way that ASD is though

I have plans on becoming a cop, but apparantly the recruitment center doesn't even bother taking a single look at you if you say that you have ADHD. I get that they don't want impulsive people as cops, but symptoms can vary from person to person, and you don't even need to have impulsivity problems (you can be a mainly inattentive type). What's absolutely absurd and pisses me off the most is their explanation though.

"If you have ADHD or another neuropsychiatric diagnosis, you can not become a cop. People with for example ADHD need a clear, foreseeable and perspicuous everyday life. Policing however, entails many special and unforeseeable situations in many different environments".
Spoiler

So instead of prohibiting people with ADHD from becoming cops because they might have problems with impulsivity (which is ridiculous in its own since not everyone's the same) it's actually because they supposedly need everything to be structured in order and can't handle unexpected situations??? I'm pretty sure people with ADHD are known for being natural improvisers who have a lot of trouble with organizing and planning, not the other way around. Their description sounds a lot more like a description of assburgers.

Everybody who wants to become a cop has to get evaluated by a psychologist anyway, so I don't get why people with ADHD wouldn't even get a chance to even get evaluated.

It should be a requirement that you cannot apply for being POTUS if you have ADHD.

This song (which takes me back to my youth ) got to number one in the UK but it was banned by the BBC & the band themselves withdrew the single after 4 weeks...
