I know someone - think it was B87 - posted this long list showing the max temp in the UK by year, since 1901 or something. Can't seem to find it though. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Really shows how bad the 60s were. There were 16 years between 1900-2016 that failed to reach 30c, and 4 of those years were in the 60s.

29C was the highest temp yesterday. It might be that the country won't hit the 30C mark this year. Current record is 29.1C recorded in Utsjoki, the northernmost commune of Finland.

The strength of the sun between Nov-Dec is a non-issue here, as the sun isn't out anyway, lol. But in late January though you don't feel the sun on your face, the snow starts to drop from roofs and melt from buildings.

Veikkaus's odds:

1: 1.34
X: 4.30
2: 7.40

You are surely going to watch on Gamla Ullevi?

My prediction is 1-0 to IFK.

XI is probably:

--------------------------Morelos
------------Odu------------Atom----------Alho
---------------------Annan--------Medo
-Taiwo (Jalasto)---Tatomirovic---Rexhepi---Sorsa (Jalasto)
--------------------------Dähne

yep i am. btw, i was schocked when i saw that taiwo was playing in helsinki. i followed him when he was in ac milan. as i remember, he had a powerful shot and was rather reckless in the defensive.

He still has the monstrous left foot shot. He has scored 6 goals this season and is our 2nd best goalscorer. Taiwo is sometimes called the best player in Finland, and though he is not quite as good as in Marseille and Milan, he is still too a good player for our league. He came to Helsinki as his club in Turkey had problems paying salaries. In HJK he can at least play 90 minutes every match and he gets his pay on the day it's promised.

The biggest problem for both you and us is Rexhepi. He plays really reckless and that might mean a broken leg for your player or a red card for Rexhepi. You never know what you get from him, probably because he is born in Turku. Tatomirovic is also super tough, but he doesn't do stupid mistakes unlike Rexhepi.

Odu, Alho, Atom again are small crybabies and no issue physically to your defenders.

The Helsinki police sent some officers with the supporters to Gothenburg to help that there won't be no trouble. Not that it would normally be needed in Sweden, but the letters 'ifk' are quite a red blanket for most. (Helsinki IFK being our mortal rival). Surely some want to test the 'Wisemen' (notorious hooligan crew of Gothenburg).
